This is my game programming portfolio. It showcases some of the games I made as hobby projects as well as for my masters.

I started creating games when I was about 12 years old. My first games were written in QBasic and were mostly text based, or created by using ASCII art.
When I was a little older I started using Visual Basic 6 to create games like Mastermind, Battleship and Tic-Tac-Toe.

When I started my Bsc. in computer science I learned how to program using a.o. Java and C. This is when the games started to become a little more interesting. For example Parallel Troopers was made during my bachelors.
But it wasn't until my masters that I started using C++ and all the powerful packages that are available for it, like Ogre3D and ODE.
Then somewhere at the end of my masters I did a project of six months with a couply of art students and game designers from the HKU (School of arts Utrecht). This led to the creation of Streekstation - the game.

After graduating I got a job as a developer at UnitedGames, where I'm currently still employed. This is where I made my first published games. I worked on Raise Up The Tenth. And for over 1.5 years I worked on the Volvo Ocean Race Game, which is at the moment the biggest and most challenging project I've worked on.

Feel free to take a look around, but make sure to at least check out the Volvo Ocean Race Game and Streekstation - the game. Most of the games are available for download, so if you like what you see you can give it a try!
